Shady Lady Lighting contemporary lampshades are handmade in New Zealand. They usually use a white backing which helps to reflect the light. This enables us to use thermal drape, or dark fabric more effectively. We make nearly any size, from very small to very large (the sizes increment in one inch steps), from coolie shapes to cylindrical drums and others.
We can also manufacture these shades from material supplied by you ie to match your decor and furnishings etc. (Note: most materials are suitable for lampshade manufacture but there are some exceptions.)
We have supplied shades for numerous Hotels, Motels, Home-Stays, Cafes, Bars and Event Centres. Shady Lady Lighting shades are also seen in some of the best Restaurants in Wellington, and are used by some leading Interior Designers.
