Fabric Shades Classical
Shady Lady Lighting classical lampshades are all handmade in New Zealand. They are hand sewn, and provide a beautiful glow through the material. These shades are usually waisted, with or without scallops, and are finished with braid, fringes or bias in the same or complimentary fabric. These can also be lined which will add to the longevity of the shade.
We can also manufacture these shades from material supplied by you ie to match your décor and furnishings etc. (Note: most materials are suitable for lampshade manufacture but there are some exceptions.)

Fabric Shades Contemporary
Shady Lady Lighting contemporary lampshades are handmade in New Zealand. They usually use a white backing which helps to reflect the light. This enables us to use thermal drape, or dark fabric more effectively. We make nearly any size, from very small to very large (the sizes increment in one inch steps), from coolie shapes to cylindrical drums and others.
We can also manufacture these shades from material supplied by you ie to match your decor and furnishings etc. (Note: most materials are suitable for lampshade manufacture but there are some exceptions.)

Wall lighting Wall Brackets
Wall brackets usually match a centrally mounted ceiling pendant, and are used to provide a small pool of light. When a wall bracket directs the light down this provides a good source of light to read by. Wall brackets are quire popular in bedrooms for people who like to read in bed, or as an alternative to a bedside lamp These shades fit a variety of wall brackets including swing arms.
Wall lighting Wall Washers
Wall washers are used to create a soft ambience in a room, and literally "wash" the wall with light. This is great in rooms like lounges, dining rooms, hallways and (sometimes) bedrooms, as it gives an alternative to the harsh mainstream light in the room (especially when watching TV or entertaining).
